These criterial are set to limit values of toxic substances,which can present potential health hazard to consumers depending on classes of products classified by the Oeko-Tex standard 100 Class I .These limitations include

1. The appropriate interval of pH value
2. Formaldehyde
3. The minimum levels of extractable heavy metals
4. Any of 54 banned pesticides
5. The proper levels for chlorinated phenols
